PPC Calculator Methodology & Formula Standards

Every result should be traceable to a formula and every forecast should make its assumptions visible.

Calculation Standards

Calculator inputs are converted to non-negative numbers and protected against division by zero. Results use full numeric precision internally and are rounded only for display. Currency selection changes locale-aware formatting, not the underlying formula.

Profit and Cost Boundaries

PPC profit calculations include platform spend, management expense, and user-provided variable delivery costs. Break-even ROAS uses contribution margin after variable cost. Fixed overhead is excluded unless a user intentionally represents it in another cost input.

Forecast Scenarios

The flagship PPC calculator shows conservative and optimistic cases by changing CPC and conversion-rate assumptions. These are sensitivity checks, not statistical confidence intervals. Users should replace general assumptions with comparable account data whenever it is available.

Privacy and Verification

Calculations run locally in the browser and inputs are not sent to a server. Formula functions are covered by automated tests for expected results and safe handling of zero-value inputs. Methodology changes are reviewed before release.
